ABOUT ME
Experienced Executive Coach with extensive Board-level expertise
As an experienced Executive Coach working with board-level executives, I bring 25 years of empathy and experience from sitting in a variety of seats around the board table- as a Chair and Non-Executive Director, as a Co-Founder, and as a Partner at a Private Equity firm.
In all these roles, I have devoted my career to doing business the right way and succeeding through positive leadership.
I bring credibility at the most senior level
As a Chair and Non-Executive Director, I have held roles within the financial services, fintech and wealth management sectors, with family-owned, consumer-facing businesses and working alongside HM Government assets, with revenues from early-stage to £1bn. The common thread has been working with interesting people looking to create meaningful change and for whom stakeholder culture and making a positive impact are highly prized.
I understand complex Stakeholder Groups
My executive career was entirely within the Private Equity sector, mostly as a Partner and a Venture Partner in leading PE funds investing in fast-growth technology-enabled businesses, where I sat on their boards as a Director. As a Non-Executive, I have worked with Family Offices, HM Government and within large matrix organisations.
I empathise with the particular challenges of founding and growing a business
As a founding shareholder and board member of the successful environmental business, FirstMile, I have helped steer a growth business and its exit to private equity. As an Investor Director I have invested in and worked closely with PE backed businesses and their management teams.
I believe that sustainable business success comes from a meaningful focus on people and the planet
Alongside my role at FirstMile, an organisation dedicated to delivering a positive impact for the planet, I have used my position chairing the Remuneration Committees of substantial organisations to bring focus to – and see a meaningful change in – employee engagement and diversity and inclusion.
A Note From Catrina Holme
My mission is to bring my personal qualities to my coaching for the benefit of my clients.
After a childhood split between coastal Northern Scotland and the rural Yorkshire Dales, I was educated at Oxford University and stayed south to work.
I am intellectually quick and curious, sometimes challenging, a really good listener, always supportive and instinctively fun.
My experience means I work with you as a peer with lived empathy and understanding. I am confident, but I don’t have a big ego.
I have devoted my career to doing business the right way and succeeding through positive leadership. Helping people work through a conundrum is aligned with my purpose and values.
As an Executive Coach, I find personal fulfilment in supporting my clients to flourish – both personally and professionally – and seeing the way business performance follows.
It is fun and a privilege to be part of a coaching conversation with my clients. If you are curious to know more about working with me, please get in touch.
